Ok now I'm excited to watch this, even though I do feel some type of way about BET, I must say that I am in love with BET J. Let me tell you! Oooh especially on the weekends BET J provides programs from the Caribbean along from my country Jamaica, a show called Wick'd. It hosts an, um interesting choice of videos but I still love the programs from Trinidad and all over the Caribbean, especially seeing a host that I looked up to back in the day Rachel.

I will look out for this countdown on BET and BET J. Thanks for posting this because honestly I would of either caught it out of the blue or while channel surfing.

Ok, this is super new to me, are you serious? I see some songs on there that I already have and love....but is it really possible for an athlete to have his own soundtrack? I mean Asafa can have a theme song but a soundtrack? Was there a movie about his life and did these songs on the soundtrack help him to overcome obstacles in his life? I'm giggling while typing this. Its neat though and maybe this will allow other athletes to follow in Asafa's foot steps by having soundtracks of their own, or maybe they did already....since I wasn't even aware that Nike had a sports music section on iTunes. Thats the shocker for me right there.

Wow, I mean it is bad for the dancehall business, but still these artists have to eat. But when you living in a world where certain countries uphold their own laws and standards, what is one to do? Its sad either way, though it is time for these dancehall artists to be a bit more aware of their lyrical content, I'm not saying that they should change their sound, its hard for me to construct this sentence because I appreciate some of the artists that were mentioned. Its a tough spot, those artists have alot of thinking and planning to do because these times are hard.

Thats the ticket right there, this is very good. Good for everybody, especially for the young growing Jamaicans to see how precious our culture really is!

I am responidng to an e-mail that was forwarded to my attention regarding Mr. Freddie McGregor's assuming credit for the "Reggae In Symphony" concert that was held in NY in October 2007. May I inform you and the media that Mr. McGregor had nothing to do with that concert in NY except as a hired and paid artist to sing. The concert was produced and financed by myself in its entirety under the registered business name Unique Events. He should cease and desist promoting and building his career based on someone else's ideologies. Based in his London show, I decided to bring its similarity to NY and named it such. He then ran with the concept to Florida under the same guise, and is continuing his mission to use the name in which people would assume that it is the same concert because of its success in NY. I am personally disclaiming that Mr. McGregor has no affiliations with Reggae In Symphony or the NY concert in October 2007. I would love to hear from you!!

Hi there!

I am a survivor of sexual abuse and have recently set up a self help group for adult survivors in West London for persons of African and African Caribbean descent. Although, it is in its infancy, I have already received encouraging feedback to broaden my scope. To this end, I would dearly like to connect with similar organisations in Jamaica in order to share and exchange ideas. Queen Ifrica has considerably opened the path for debate and raising awareness of this emotive subject and can only applaude her for her candour. Jo, London NW10, UK

I am a Kenyan working in Kenya as an advocate-solicitor.Kindly tell the Africa Unite organizers to hold their next concert in Kenya.I attended the Ethiopia event.I heard later that they went to Ghana and South Africa.

Kenya is one of the country with massive reggae fans.We have an all reggae station owned by the government-Metro fm.

Many rasta musicians have performed here including Burning spear, culture, black uhuru, glen, gregory Isaacs etc.

we want Africa Unite concert in Kenya.
